At times I am close to a student of everything, and I shall post accordingly. Because I have a part time job, I'm studying a Master's degree and simultaneously taking an NCTJ journalism course, this page, and my youtube channel, will be updated relatively sporadically. Previously I briefly studied Mathematics at university, and in my efforts for the TV show University Challenge, I have acquired a great affection for Art, Philosophy and Language. Usually several of these will blend into my writing, and I don't apologise for that, if you don't like tenuous metaphors and links... maybe this is not the blog for you.

My current academic project is an Environmental Economics study of offshore wind turbine impacts. My previous university projects include a large scale anthropogenic dust study, research into anthropogenic impacts on diatoms, microplastics, and modelling climate impacts on disease carrying mosquito populations.
